Condition: Well preserved
Karl Hartmann studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart. After
a longer stay in Italy he settled down in Munich in 1888 specializing
in landscapes and portraits of countrymen. His works could be seen in
exhibitions all over Europe, including Paris and Venice. His drawings
were acquired amongst others by the museums of Munich and Berlin. |
