Oil on canvas, laid down on cardboard, 270 x 390 mm, signed and dated at the lower right corner: »E. Kubierschky 1909«. On the verso: a gummed sticker of the “Grosse Berliner Kunst-Ausstellung” (Great Berlin Art Exhibition) from 1911 with the written number »3306«, a second sticker is attached to the frame, probably inscribed by the artist: »Erich Kubierschky – München 23. – Verlassene Sandgrube (i. den bayr. Vorbergen)«
