Wild red und yellow orchid |

A) Wild red orchid;
Body colour preliminary drawing in black chalk, 312 x 194 mm.
The monogram “R“ is in the bottom right-hand corner in brown ink,
while the number “50” appears in the upper right-hand corner in brown
ink. A number “80615” appears in graphite on the verso in the upper
left-hand corner. Watermark: crested double-headed eagle.
B) Wild yellow orchid;
Body colour preliminary drawing in black chalk, 312 x 196 mm.
The monogram “R“ is located in the bottom right-hand corner in brown
ink, while the number “51“ appears in the upper right-hand corner in
brown ink. A number “615” appears in graphite on the verso in the
upper left-hand corner.
Condition of both leaves: extremely well-preserved.
