Ink and Indian ink, brown wash, study in black chalk on the reverse side, 144 x 91 mm; small flaw on the upper edge, Verso: Figure study.

Van Renesse’s drawing entitled “The Damnation of Susanne“ (inv. no. 32/60) in the Städtische Wessenberg-Galerie (municipal Wessenberg gallery), Constance, is stylistically very similar to this work, and is dated 1662.
